Ever since I was a kid, I marveled at sunsets—from the speed and efficiency of getting to the horizon to the magnificence and brilliance of the aftermath. What could be more uplifting than the colors and visual effect of this phenomenon? Nothing, I thought. For every place I've visited on Earth I've wondered, speculated and bet on whether sunsets would change how I feel about their impact on my being. For me, sunsets remind me of the gift of the day and the glory of the work performed while living each moment.
Then one day, I found a new kind of sunset. One that surprised me, as it was a creation of a different kind yet inspired by nature. It had similar characteristics—the amazing colors and the ability to make one pause, wonder and reflect on life. It was a creation that was born out of innocence and wonder. This sunset provided a whole new perspective on life. It allowed me to leap into the possibility of what 'could be' and the freedom to 'create from within.' This creation moved my spirit and instilled pure joy. This was the creation of my daughter's sunset—an art piece of the same place we had both visited together on a very special day. I do not have to search very far for a unique sunset, one that brings so much more joy than I could ever imagine—a sunset that reflects happiness, hope and a heaven on Earth!
